Free Art Giveaway!!

Well, 'tis the season, after all, for generosity and thoughtfulness. Thanks to Jeanette's recent giveaway on her blog, which I just won (!), I have been inspired to give something back. I really appreciate all of the people who take time out of their day to read my blog and to visit my website and Etsy shop, and I'd like to demonstrate that appreciation in a concrete manner.

So, until December 15, 2009, please pick one of the following prints as a favourite, post a comment indicating your favourite and a link to your Etsy shop, website, blog, Twitter or Facebook page (or whatever!) so I can get a hold of you if you win, and I'll randomly select a winner from the list to receive their favourite. These are all original block prints, hand-pulled by myself.

Ooo I'm torn between Goose Gallery and Kinsol...

Hi Amie.
What a wonderful idea; kind of a pay it forward.
I really like Kinsol because of it's sense of infinity and complexity while the unusual angle adds a sense of vertigo. I would be proud to be a recipient of one of your prints.
Best regards,
Hardpressed

Wonderful prints your giving away Amie. I love "Goose Gallery". You cannot mistake the print technique used and I love the flow of the tools with the image. All the best, www.debrajamespercival.com

Amie, how can you make us choose - it is like Sophie's Choice, how can she choose between her boy and her girl???!!!

That said, of course I have favorites - Kinsol and Goose Gallery. Flow is interesting, the name is perfect, as is Sitting, a different view of a cat.

Hmmm, which one, which one, I am going with Goose Gallery as I love the "texture" of it and Kinsol but I don't know what Kinsol means while Goose Gallery is a perfect name.

Thanks for this contest, what a nice Holiday idea.

This is a hard one. I think I like Goose Gallery the best. I'm always attracted to the graphic qualities of prints. I would love to win this.

I love Kinsol, with Flow a close second. (As someone just taking first steps in printmaking I'm finding your blog and your work very inspirational, and would love to own one of your prints!).

I've received a couple of votes not via the comments page:

Trish Suiter Dooling is a printmaker I've met thru Facebook, but I don't think she's got a blog or website. Her vote is for Flow IV.

Beverley Peden is a printmaker on Pender Island here on the coast of BC, and her vote is for Goose Gallery.

Goodness, this is a difficult choice, Amy I'd be delighted to find any one of your prints in my Christmas stocking.

That said, I think Kinsol is a triumph of beauty and skill.

Hi Amie! You are so generous! I already own your "Bare Branches II" print, so if I were to win I would choose "Flow IV." I love textures and sillouettes that fits the bill pretty dang well! Thanks again for the opportunity to own one of your lovely pieces!!
